Hello!
Welcome to my blog. The aim of this page is for me to share records, mixes, songs & other information I have, with a focus on, but not limited to, Brasilian music (a place whose music and culture I have found to be captivating).
I have been meaning to write a blog like this for some time now, but never got round to doing it until recently (after being reminded about them by a friend with whom I recently reconnected with starting one). There is a wealth of information yet to be made public with regards to unknown music and anecdotal stories that I want to find out about and share. Many other blogs seem to share the same aim, but I will try to go about it in a different way. I aim to post select full rips of songs in high quality audio formats for people to download, along with information about the recording (trying to take this beyond the blog style of: RECORD TITLE......DOWNLOAD LINK, yawn, this is boring and usually the audio quality is awful).
I am NOT a music journalist, author, novelist etc; the extent of my creative writing reaches to GCSE level English many years ago, so please forgive me if some of my posts don't read well or are incoherent. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this blog!
